For 2017 Advanced Squad Leader Competition, if it is to be held under the brandname of HKSW, the current plan is Mr. Anthony Leung, the Winner of 2016 HKSW ASL Competiiton and 2015 HKSW ASL Compeition will be the organiser this year.

Anthony volunteered to be the Organiser. He will start drafting the competition rules this year. We have opened a Facebook Private Channel to discuss the 2017 HK ASL Competiiton Planning.

Anthony is one of the qualified persons to do the job. Winner of the competition for several years demonstrated that he is a real ASLer. With Experiences of sitting in the Committee of the Alumi of his school (http://keito.school.hk/it-school/php/we ... newsid=146) , one of the organisers of the Boardgame Conventions (Note 1) in HK. My past dealing with him indicated that he is a person of principle, able to tend to details and perform his duty with due care and diligence.

He has already explained to some of the ASLers about his draft proposal and obtained their supports. After reaching consensus with most of us, he will start drafting his proposed Competition rules soon.

As a matter of courtesy, we have obtained the consensus of our Boardgame Co-ordinator for Anthony to organise this competition (as the ASL competition is within his area of responsibility) for us. Our Boardgame Co-ordinator has also sitted in the aforesaid facebook channel.

At present, the following 9 members are playing ASL (who have played at least once since last AGM):
Lawrence Ho, Li Tai Wah, Simon Lai, Lai Lap Wan, Erwin Lau, Cheng Tai King, Lurk Cheung, Victor Law, Sam Sham, Christopher Chu. We also have 6 to 7 ASLers (Edwin Siu, Tom Hung, King Lai, Jackson Kwan, Kenny Leung, Alex Pao, Gerry Wong) who are not HKSW members now.

Li Tai Wah can sponsor a bit of the new trophies if we need them (as we have run out of the classic Dragon Models 1/35 painted dummies)

In addition, at least the following members will join the competition tentatively:
Lawrence Ho, Li Tai Wah, Simon Lai, Anthony Leung (as organiser), Ted Kwong, Sam Sham, Lurk Cheung, Erwin Lau, Cheng Tai King.
